However, on your mobile device with a good internet signal, this could mean that YouTube uses a lot of data!

In order to lower your data usage, you need to choose a low quality option in YouTube, as follows:

On your Phone or Tablet device
To adjust video quality while watching on your mobile device:

Select your preferred video quality based on the total data you plan to use from the table below.

On your Computer
To adjust video quality while watching on your computer:
